Since 2001, we have been working to provide support and hope to our neighbors.

The Samaritan Center of Glassboro, Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization that was incorporated in 2001.  We provide food for Glassboro residents who meet the federal guidelines for low income status.  In addition to government issued staples, we distribute food donated by generous community members.  We also receive financial support from caring individuals, local churches, businesses, schools and other non-profit organizations.  All donations are used to fulfill our commitment to provide nutritious food and affordable clothing for Glassboro residents who qualify for our services.  We are an Equal Opportunity Provider.

The Samaritan Center of Glassboro is in memory of Bettye Bell and Barbara Siglin
for their inspiration for and dedicated work to the center.

Who We Are…

About Us.

The Samaritan Center is located on 123A East High Street in Glassboro. Our program helps Glassboro residents only with economic difficulties by providing free food once per month.

We receive food from the state; however, a large portion of our food and monetary donations come from the generous people of our community, local churches, and schools.

Food Pantry.

We distribute donated and government issued food to Glassboro residents who need our assistance. Individuals and families who meet federal guidelines for low income status, receive food once each month. Food is distributed on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12pm – 3pm.

Volunteering.

Volunteering is a great way to be part of positive change for our community. The Samaritan Center food bank is open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. You can also help by running a food drive through your school, club, or organization. Remember that today is always the best day to start making the world a better place.
